Access road construction and repair in Latvia
How deep should the road base be?+
It depends on subgrade strength, traffic loading, water conditions and surface. Base depth should not be selected from a square-metre rate alone.
Can the road first be finished in aggregate?+
Yes. A correctly built base can serve as an unbound surface and later receive asphalt if designed for it.
Do you take smaller private roads?+
Yes. There is no fixed minimum, although mobilisation represents a larger share of a small project.
