Phase one of the S02 Sūtri–Ragavīki road reconstruction has been completed. Following inspection, the project was accepted and opened for use with the road structure, asphalt surface, drainage, connections, shoulders and markings in place.
From earthworks to a completed road
The BIMARKS package combined the linked stages of road reconstruction. Work progressed from formation and drainage through bearing layers to surfacing, connections and final reinstatement.

Ground stabilisation in challenging sections
Insufficient ground bearing capacity was identified in several sections. Additional ground and base stabilisation was completed before the next pavement layers were built. The solution required careful sequencing and plant coordination and provided a sound, durable result.
Accepted and opened for use
The planned work has been completed, inspected and accepted, and the project has been opened for use. We thank SIA “Latgales Ceļdaris” for professional cooperation, prompt coordination and the result achieved together.
