Paver quality alone does not determine the result. Bearing capacity, edge restraint, levels, drainage and accurate connections control long-term performance.

Levels and drainage

Set finished levels and the stormwater route before excavation. Water must move away from buildings and coordinate with doors, gates, chambers and roads.

  • longitudinal and cross falls
  • inlets or safe discharge
  • accessible crossings
  • chamber and utility levels

Base and edges

The pavement structure depends on loading. A pedestrian path and heavy-vehicle yard require different layers and compaction.

  • excavation and compaction
  • frost-resistant and aggregate layers
  • concrete kerbs and edge support
  • bedding, paving, vibration and jointing

Quotation details

Provide area, kerb length, expected loading, material choice, address and photographs of level connections.
