Before mobilisation, the contract should define scope, materials, acceptance, warranty, payment stages and the procedure for variations.

Warranty depends on the work

BIMARKS normally provides 12 to 60 months depending on the work, project requirements and contract. The agreed structure, materials, tests and client-supplied items define the warranty boundary.

  • work and material boundaries
  • acceptance tests and records
  • operation and maintenance conditions
  • defect notice and remedy procedure

BIMARKS or client materials

We usually work with our own materials and deliveries to control quality and programme. Client materials can be used by agreement after specification, delivery, storage and responsibility are defined.

Payment

Payment can be linked to an advance, material delivery, measurable stages or monthly progress. Measurement, acceptance, invoicing and variations should follow one agreed procedure.
